We’re working with a premier global firm that continues to see significant growth in its New York Project Finance practice, offering exposure to world-class transactions and clients.
The Team This top-ranked team advises sponsors, developers, financial institutions, and investors on the financing and development of major projects across sectors including renewables, conventional power, LNG, digital infrastructure, and transportation. The practice is known for its global reach, innovative deal structures, and seamless collaboration across offices worldwide.
The Role You’ll be involved in a broad range of complex project finance transactions — from greenfield developments to refinancings, portfolio acquisitions, and multi-source financings involving ECAs, DFIs, and multilaterals. The role offers significant responsibility, client exposure, and the opportunity to work alongside leading partners and highly regarded peers across the Americas and beyond.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on all aspects of project development and financing, including structuring, due diligence, and documentation
- Acting for sponsors, lenders, and investors on energy, infrastructure, and natural resource projects
- Drafting and negotiating key project and finance documents
- Collaborating with international colleagues on cross-border mandates
Requirements - 3–6 years’ experience in project finance or related banking & finance work from a leading law firm
- Experience advising lenders and/or sponsors on energy or infrastructure projects
- Strong drafting and analytical skills with a commercial mindset
- Excellent academics and communication skills
